I read Michelle Phan's blog post about "10 ways to use vaseline" and decided to take some inspiration from her post and tell you how I use it on a daily basis.
Everyone knows that vaseline has always been considered a lubricant but did you know that it can be used in many different ways?

1. APPLY IT DIRECTLY ON YOUR SCABS. The first time I ever used vaseline (or pure petroleum jelly) was by recommendation from a doctor.
When I was 14 I had to go "under the knife" for breast cysts and afterwards, while I was recovering, my doctor advised me to get vaseline and apply it directly on the scabs to help them come out smoothly and without pain (trust me it did hurt before everytime a piece got stuck in the bra).
2. SMOOTHING OUT HARD SKIN. Some of you might have already experienced very dry elbows. Every night before going to bed try and apply a bit of vaseline. After a while you will be left with smooth elbows.
3. INSTEAD OF LIPBALM. When the cold months approach I tend to have extreamly dry lips so, every night after brushing my teeth and exfoliating my lips I apply a generous amount of vaseline. I assure you all that dry and dead skin will be gone.
4. CREAM BLUSH. I have tried this before and was amased by the quality and durability of it. Pick up a small plate and in it dab a little amount of vaseline. With the back of a spoon, scratch a tiny amount of your favourite blush and mix it together. Then all that's left is the application!
5. NOSE REDNESS. If you are somewhat like me, when cold days come you start sneezzing and blowing your nose quite a lot. Try to apply vaseline everytime you have a chance, but especially at night, right around those red nose areas. I promise that in the following day it won't hurt as much.
So tell me. How do you use vaseline?
Did you know it could be used directly on scabs to help remove them smoothly?
Don't forget to LIVE!
xoxo
